Why did it get this rating?

This film game was cross-rated by the Film and Video Labelling Body. You can find out more about cross-rating here.

Violence

The film follows a stuntman from the movie set into ‘real life’ as he attempts to find the star of the big action science fiction film that’s gone missing. Stunts involve realistically looking fight scenes, car chase scenes, and a boat chase at night in Sydney Harbour. There are fistfights, explosions, fights with samurai swords, and battles using movie props such as fake glass bottles.

The tongue-in-cheek tone of the movie helps to lessen the impact of the fights and resulting injuries. There is reference to an on-set accident where an actor fell from a great height. We see part of the action but not the resulting injury.

In a brief scene we see a dead body in a bathtub. It’s not clear how the person was killed.

Offensive language

There is some swearing used throughout the film. The strongest words are “sh*t”, “a**hole”, “p*ssy” and “b*tch”.

Drug references

A character is drugged without his knowledge, and his resulting trip is shown as a funny storyline. There is a reference to a drug dealer and the big star actor partying and doing drugs, but these aren’t shown in a positive light.
