Violence and scary scenes

Some scenes throughout the show are tense, including jump scares that may startle younger viewers. Though threat and havoc appear often, they are regularly broken up by silly child humour.

Some violent or scary moments include:

  • In battle scenes, characters fight with knives and fists, and characters are killed by laser guns with burn marks shown on their clothing. In one fight, a main character burns an enemy’s skin and we can hear it sizzle, however there is no gore and it is quickly followed by humour.
  • While walking down a hallway, one character is shocked upon seeing two dead skeletons covered in cobwebs.
  • Bombs and other weapons are used to cause explosions and destroy spaceships.
  • One of the main characters slips and is hanging off a large spaceship taking off surrounded by explosions, but his friends manage to save him.

Content that may disturb

A man is dragged out of view, but we know he is going to be thrown out of an airlock to suffocate in outer space. We hear him scream “noooo!” For some young viewers’, this may make them sad or go over their heads.

Offensive language

Some insults like “scum,” “jerk,” “dumb,” “loser,” and other mild school insults are used.
