Sausage Party: Foodtopia

What’s it about?

In this series spinoff of the 2016 film Sausage Party, Frank and his friends attempt to build their own society, called “Foodtopia.” After a huge flood destroys their safe haven, they are forced to team up with humans to survive.

Violence

Violence is used comically, but is very gruesome and sometimes bloody. Some of the harder scenes to watch include:

• In more than one episode, dead human bodies are shown after being killed by food items
• A character is made to eat a human foot
• A character uses a knife to slash someone else's heels.
• A character is hit in the head with an axe and blood is shown
• A character is stabbed to death with forks and this shot is shown several times

Sex scenes

There are a lot of animated sex scenes and while they are intended for comic effect, many are very graphic. Some of the raunchier scenes include:

• In the first episode, a group of food items have intercourse with each other, including penetrative, oral, and anal sex. You hear noises and moaning and see thrusting. One food item chokes another in a sexual act
• Episode 6 shows a man having sex with a hotdog, including anal and oral sex. This is very graphic as you see the man ejaculating and then semen covering the hotdog
• During episode 7, one food item jumps into the anus of another and uses it to gain control. This is shown in detail.

Drug use

Characters snort bath salts and the drug is mentioned frequently throughout the series.

Offensive language

Variations of the word f*ck are used often, sometimes in a sexual sense. Other offensive language includes “sh*t, b*tch, b*stard, d**head, a** and a**hole
