Coarse language

This movie contains some coarse language and toilet humour. At one point, a character starts to say Susie’s pies taste like "shi-", but Annie quickly talks over him before her mum hears.

Phrases like "bugger off," "bloody hell," and "bastard" are used throughout, along with unfinished expletives like "big, glittering, shi-" and "what the f-," where the full words are implied but not finished

There’s also a suggestive insult, "stuff your rams up your Jonesy.".

Violence and scary scenes

This movie contains some violent scenes:

  • Runt steals sausages and is chased by a woman with a meat cleaver, followed by others. A man with a net keeps trying to catch him.
  • Max sets his bike wheels on fire while filming a stunt, accidentally setting his pants on fire. His mum hits him and the bike with a blanket to put out the flames.
  • Max jumps from a tall height, breaks his arm, and realises it’s at a weird angle.
  • Annie asks Max to do something dangerous, and he jokes, “I could fall and die. You’ll have to film me!” He nearly slips and ends up hanging upside-down.
  • Annie’s dad checks in on her, joking that he hopes she isn’t "boiling in a cauldron.".
  • Robert-Barren gets swept away by a rainstorm when his dam breaks.
