Scary and/or sad scenes
After a deadly earthquake destroys his home in the Peruvian rainforest, young, orphaned Paddington bear makes his way on his own to England in search of a new home. The idea of being all on your own and without parents may initially worry younger viewers. He quickly meets the Brown family who take him in.
Violence
A taxidermist sets her sights on capturing Paddington, threatening to have him stuffed. In her pursuit of the bear she slaps a co-worker, and ties up a person and hangs them upside down to get information out of them. She eventually kidnaps Paddington, shooting them with a tranquilizer dart and he falls to the ground asleep, snoring. But he’s rescued with the help of an Aunty who is drunk after doing shots of rum with a security guard.
