Sex scenes and sexual themes

The series features romantic relationships that are central to the plot. The characters’ relationships are often shown with humour, capturing the awkwardness and charm of young love. Scenes that involve sexual activity are generally implied or shown without much detail, aligning with the comedic and fantastical style of the series. Some of the stronger scenes include:

  • A character walks in on a man performing oral sex on a woman. Nothing is visible as the man is crouched underneath her skirt and the oral sex is implied through movement and sounds.
  • A character is treated for pustules (small bumps containing pus) on her vagina and is encouraged to not have intercourse for a period of time which she is not impressed with.
  • Two characters are engaging in sex, implied by their passionate kissing and suggestive movements. At one point, a female character is shown topless, though only her back is visible.

Violence

The violence in the series is mostly mild and stylized, fitting with the show's whimsical tone. There are some sword fights and physical altercations, but they are not graphic or excessively brutal. The strongest scenes include:

  • “Ethian” people are dunked in a well to force them to shape-shift or drown in the process.
  • A man is slowly being poisoned over time and appears quite sickly.
  • A woman shoots a crossbow at innocent people for pleasure.
  • A BDSM element is subtly implied, with two characters shown to have an interest in it. The man, in particular, is often depicted in a vulnerable position, being spanked or spoken down to.

Offensive language

There is frequent use of highly offensive language such as “f*ck”, “piss”, “b*tch” and sh*t.
