Sex scenes
There's a lot of sex scenes which are often very graphic, drawn out and involve nudity. You see penetrative sex, oral sex, anal sex, and masturbation. Some of the camera angles are very close up, and there’s a few instances of full-frontal nudity. In one scene you see a male ejaculate on a female character’s bare chest, although you don’t see his genitals as this happens.
Drug use
Characters use drugs in every episode. Cocaine is the most common and is taken in excess using different methods, from nasal inhalation (snorting) to rectal use. Other drugs include heroin, MDMA, ketamine, psychedelics, and meth in one scene.
Most drug use happens during parties, at work, and during meetings and is portrayed quite casually. Some characters show signs of addiction, and you see the consequences of lots of drug use when it begins to affect both their personal lives and their work lives.
Offensive language
Offensive language such as f*ck, sh*t, bullsh*t, and c*nt is used frequently. Mostly it is used during conversations and in either a friendly or aggressive manner, however variations of the word f*ck are also used in sex scenes.
Suicide themes
A character has a fatal heart attack after pushing themselves beyond their limits, driven by days of no sleep and reliance on stimulant pills to stay awake. After making a mistake before a presentation, they are later discovered dead in a toilet cubicle at work. Their death comes up throughout the first season, with speculation among colleagues that it may have been a suicide.
Violence
There are a few fist fights, however the overall violence does not have as much impact as the other content in the series.
