Intense scenes
We see distressing footage of Celine in severe pain. At the beginning of the documentary, she is shown on the floor from a distance, unable to move, and groaning as she suffers a seizure caused by Stiff Person Syndrome.
Later in the film she is again shown having a seizure, however this time it is very close up and confronting. She cries and screams while she is curled into a foetal position and her body flails uncontrollably. This scene lasts for almost 10 minutes.
Celine opens up about her struggles with Stiff Person Syndrome throughout the documentary. These scenes are extremely emotional and are amplified by editing and sad music.
Drug references
Celine talks about becoming addicted to Valium after she was prescribed the drug to help her condition. She admits that at one point, she was taking so much she “could have died.”
Coarse language
This documentary contains a small amount of coarse language, such as “damn”, which may impact much younger viewers.
