Scary and intense scenes

There are a few moments that may be upsetting for very young viewers. These include:

  • The family that the film centres around has some arguments that are very intense
  • One of the characters, Bruno, is initially quite scary however he is misunderstood and it turns out he is just lonely
  • A character dangles from a cliff edge and it looks like they’re about to fall, but they end up fine
  • A house falls down during an intense scene

Violence

During a flashback, a group of men is shown setting homes on fire while holding large machetes. Although no one is killed on screen, it's strongly implied that a character was murdered.

There’s a brief shot of a bloody wound after a character cuts their hand.
