Violence
There is some fighting, which involves kicking, punching, throwing, as well as the use some weapons like swords and spears. There is little blood shown and most of the violence is unrealistic, as characters fly or move in superhuman ways while fighting.
A spear is used to stab through a character’s chest. You see the weapon enter their body, and when it’s removed there is a ring of fire where the hole is (no blood). This soon heals and the character is fine.
A character's chest is bloodied, and it appears they have been stabbed. There is no context as to how this happened, and no detail of the injury is shown as their chest is covered by a piece of material.
Scary scenes
There are some dark magic elements that could scare younger viewers. There are references to evil spirits, witches, and ghosts, and some voodoo acts/spells are performed.
In one scene, a witch performs a spell which makes two snakes enter a character’s body through a wound on their back. You see them slither up to their head under the skin. Later, the snakes come out of the character’s head.
A sorcerer uses a scorpion to perform voodoo on a character. They rip off the scorpion's claw and drop it in a potion, making the character grow the claw in place of their arm.
In another scene, a character appears unconscious while small scorpions surround them.
Sad scenes
One of the characters’ mothers passed away when they were younger, which is discussed a few times in the film. These scenes could be upsetting for younger viewers, especially seeing how the death has affected the character.
