What’s it about?

In a world filled with elemental-based magic, war divides the four nations of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. A 12-year-old boy, Aang, is the only one who can “bend” all four elements and can stop the Fire Nation. Along with his friends Katara, Sokka and Toph, Aang sets out to fulfil his destiny and restore balance and peace to the world.

Episode 1: Aang

After being told something about himself that will change the direction of his life, Aang runs away from home. Meanwhile, the Fire Nation attacks the Southern Air Temple, igniting a century-long war. 100 years later, siblings Katara and Sokka make a huge discovery hidden in the ice.

Violence and scary scenes

Bending powers resemble a martial arts style of fighting.

A character tries to run from a group of fire benders. He is captured and his arm is burned. No injury is shown but the character screams in pain.

The Fire Nation executes a ruthless attack on the Air Nation. Their intention is to wipe out the air benders, including elderly and children, who appear helpless. The Fire Nation uses their bending ability, sets people on fire, and burns their victims. No injury is shown but you can hear characters screaming. Some air benders fight back.
