Violence and disturbing content
A character’s head is bashed in with a cricket bat, while their open mouth is placed against a rock. Their head is blocked from view so you don't see any detail of their injuries, however there are some graphic sound effects. Following this scene, the character’s dead body is then hung from a bridge. Images of the character are shown afterwards, but his face is censored.
The film features several gun battles between the Indian army and Kashmiri militants, set in different locations. The sound effects for gunfire are exaggerated, and there are computer-generated blood effects. Other violent scenes show people getting punched in the face multiple times, a man being set on fire (shown from afar) and local villagers throwing stones. There’s also a very short clip of actual news footage depicting real-life conflicts in the area.
Most of the scenes showing injuries after violence focus mainly on blood, but there’s one shootout where you briefly see some graphic injuries to limbs from explosions, including a quick look at a body with a missing limb.
